Eva AllanEstate Agent
Eva is our newest Estate Agent. A lifelong local, she is currently living West Linton. Her favourite things about West Linton and the Scottish Borders are the strong sense of community and the gorgeous surroundings.
Eva attended Peebles High School and then went on to work in a law firm in Edinburgh for several years. The pull of property (and the Borders) brought her back to Peebles to join the Estate Agency team at Blackwood & Smith.
Eva’s skillset and previous experience make her a perfect expert Estate Agent in training. Naturally people-focused, she thrives on talking, listening, and building genuine connections. She enjoys helping people and finds it incredibly rewarding to support people through exciting (and sometimes a little bit stressful) life moments, particularly something as meaningful as selling or finding their dream home. She considers it a privilege to be able to guide and reassure clients with positivity and professionalism throughout their property journey. She believes that kind and approachable communication is one of the most important parts of her job. Whether it’s helping first-time buyers, supporting families, or easing the nerves of someone moving after many years, she wants to be the person who makes that process as smooth and positive as possible.
Friendly and approachable, Eva enjoys meeting new clients and building strong working relationships. Whether she’s showing a property, valuing a home, arranging a viewing, answering questions or finalising a sale, her favourite part of being an Estate Agent is being the trusted person clients can turn to for help and advice. Eva might be the newest face in the office, but she has wasted no time in making an impact.
In her free time you will find Eva enjoying the outdoors horse riding, playing a sometimes (always) competitive game of tennis or holding a pose in a pilates class.
Eva’s three favourite things (in no particular order) are: spending time with friends and family, binge reading a good book and trying new restaurants.
